Susan M. Strohm is a Sam Dan instructor at A Mountain Wind Martial Arts. Dr. Strohm started training in Tang Soo Do in 1992, at Penn State Martial Arts Group and continues to train under Master Scott Merrill, under the guidance of Master Michael White. Dr. Strohm tested for 1st degree black belt in 1997, 2nd degree black belt in 2001, and third degree black belt in 2008.
In 2008, she received the WTSDA Hall of Fame Student of the Year award, and in 2001 the Region # 8 Roundtable Award. She has a special interest in the history and philosophy of martial arts and has taught at Region # 22 Gup Clinics and Dan Camps. She currently serves as the President of the Region # 22 Leadership Class and is Chair of the WTSDA Video Committee.
